About The Firm

Brannen, Searcy & Smith, LLP, a Martindale-Hubbell AV-rated firm, was organized as a partnership by Perry Brannen, Sr. (1903-1984) in 1937. For more than 80 years, the firm has grown and prospered, achieving success and a reputation that demands respect in the legal community. The firm’s members share a deep commitment to professionalism and improving that reputation for its many loyal clients.

Brannen, Searcy & Smith, LLP has its offices in midtown Savannah, located at 22 East 34th Street, on the corner of Drayton Street and 34th Street. The firm is housed in the former mansion of A. B. Savannah and Chatham County

Savannah, with all its historic charm, is also a thriving economic center growing at an impressive rate. Although tourism is at the heart of its economy, the Savannah ports and numerous large industrial facilities call Savannah home. Savannah is also culturally alive, with an active professional orchestra, numerous semi-professional theatre groups, numerous museums, and four large academic college institutions. The City of Savannah also plays host each March to one of the world’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parades.

Strongly committed to this community, Brannen, Searcy & Smith, LLP encourages its members to participate in community activities. Partners and associates are actively involved in not only legal organizations, but a myriad of philanthropic and civic organizations.  Brannen, Searcy & Smith, LLP continues to grow as Savannah grows.  We are committed to the development of new practice areas, while maintaining the firm’s historic expertise in the fields of civil litigation, corporate law, estate planning, and real estate.
